Killing the IT, A new Book

Killing the It, is a new book currently being written, by Dr. Steven Bunnell

Our intention with this page is to add excepts as the book is being developed. Here is the beginning. Watch the embedded video and the transformation which is to come

The following are quotes included in the book.

Quotable Quotes:  New Thoughts From Others Transformed

*Anything worth doing is worth screwing up.

*What other people think of me is none of my business

*A religious man is religious because he doesn’t want to go to Hell. A spiritual man is spiritual because he has been to Hell and doesn’t want to go back.

*“It’s” cause is never more in danger than when the Me looks out upon a world from which all sign of God has vanished and asks, “Why have I been forsaken?” and then still does the right thing.

*Possibilities do not begin in time and space like a physical object. Possibilities begin in language in the nature of the conversations with have with ourselves about ourselves and other people. Possibilities become real in time and space as we continue to express them and refuse to allow their alternative to enter our minds.

*Pain is normal reaction to an event. Real misery, however, comes from believing the language the “it” uses to interpret the meaning of that event.

*A declaration is an act of language requiring no evidence that leads to a conclusion.

*The dominate thoughts of our minds will eventually reproduce themselves into outward physical beliefs and gradually transform themselves into physical reality.

*Who we are is the sum total of the meaning we have attached to the events of our lives. We made ourselves up out of fantasy. If we were to let go of all that fantastical meaning we would be nothing and being nothing is a good place to begin.

*Who we are in the present moment has nothing to do with our past. Who we are in the present moment is the future we are looking into.

*There is nothing in my past that can hurt me unless I reach back into that past, drag it into the present moment, and think about it right now.

*My past is empty and meaningless and the fact that it is empty and meaningless is empty and meaningless.

*Much of the time we say, “I’ll believe it when I see it” when what we should be saying is, “When I believe it, I will see it.”

*“If you want to dramatically improve your life, stop believing what you think.  All our major problems in life are a result of unexamined thought.”

Dr. Steven is inspired to share his wisdom along with his years of experience with clients, classes and workshops.  Steven has also applied a positive lifestyle in his own life, family and practice.
